Supporting Students and Families Through the Medical & Dental School Admissions Journey

You know what we do—now let us share why we do it.

As parents of aspiring medical students, we saw firsthand the challenges of navigating the complex admissions process. Many support groups lacked personalised guidance, and accessing professional advice from experts who truly understood the system was nearly impossible.

Determined to bridge this gap, we created a platform that not only supports students but also empowers parents who want to help their children succeed.

What sets us apart is our consultant-led, highly personalised support, delivered at scale without compromising quality. We provide expert mentorship, ensuring that both students and parents receive reliable, high-quality information and an exceptional experience throughout this demanding journey.

At Med School Entry, we are committed to making the admissions process clearer, more accessible, and ultimately, more successful for every student we work with.

We are also deeply committed to expanding access to educational opportunities for students from underprivileged backgrounds. Our widening participation initiatives are truly unmatched, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of aspiring medical and dental students achieving their goals.

Dr Rizvia Khan, FRCGP

Founder and Director MEDSCHOOLENTRY | GP | Senior Leader NHSE  | Medical Educator | Lead Appraiser London

Over a decade ago, I founded MBBSAdmissions after personally experiencing the challenges of navigating the medical admissions process for my son — even as a qualified doctor. What began as a small initiative driven by passion and purpose has since evolved into MEDSCHOOLENTRY, one of the UK’s leading platforms for medical school preparation. Today, we proudly support over 4,000 aspiring medical students every year across our courses, online resources, and mentorship programmes.

As a current practising GP, consulting with patients every week, I combine clinical excellence with leadership at the highest levels of the NHS. I currently hold senior leadership positions within NHS England, having previously served within NHS Workforce, Training & Education (WTE). I also serve as a Lead Appraiser for London and Deputy Lead Appraiser across all of London, helping to shape and uphold professional standards for doctors across the capital. Beyond the clinic, I am an expedition doctor, supporting teams in remote and challenging environments — a role that reflects my deep commitment to medicine in all its forms.

I have personally interviewed hundreds, if not over 1000 successful candidates and guided over 15,000 students across our platforms towards their goals. My experience as a former medical school interviewer and OSCE examiner, and Appraiser, has provided invaluable insight into what distinguishes truly outstanding applicants.

At MEDSCHOOLENTRY, education is my lifelong passion. We exist to empower students with the knowledge, confidence, and strategy they need to succeed. The journey to medicine is demanding — and often, you only get one opportunity to make it count. My mission is to ensure that every student we support is fully prepared to seize that opportunity and succeed.

I act as a key point of contact for students, parents, and families, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their journey with MedSchoolEntry. I also coordinate closely with clinicians, tutors, senior professionals, and faculty, ensuring the smooth running of sessions, events, and interview seasons.

My role further includes supporting webinars and live events, maintaining operational efficiency, and working closely with Dr Khan to ensure the highest standards of organisation, professionalism, and quality assurance across the platform.

– Affiliate of doctor organisations for neurodiversity
– GP Appraiser

Dr.Bhatti qualified from GKT School of Medicine in 2002. During my time at King’s, I gained several prizes and scholarships, attaining a first in my intercalated BSc in pharmacology. I initially trained in obstetrics and gynaecology before becoming a GP. I became interested in communication and mind-body medicine, which led to accreditation by the Society of NLP and the Society of Medical NLP; I continued my training in mindfulness and deep mastery. Having enjoyed many leadership roles, I realise the power of self-regulation and how to harness this. I currently work with doctors and healthcare professionals struggling with anxiety and confidence, including neurodiverse doctors and have delivered training to a range of organisation within healthcare and the education sectors. I have lived experience through my children and have authored a book on neurodivergence, having navigated EHCP’s and UCATSEN, school refusal and anxiety.

Niorla Nimal

Hi! My name is Niorla and I’m a second-year medical student at Oxford. I scored 2370 (3140 with the old system) in the UCAT, and also received offers from Imperial, KCL, and Manchester. As part of MSE, I’ve been tutoring A-levels, UCAT and running MMI mocks for several years, so I understand how important it is to tailor each session to suit every student’s learning style.
Rather than overwhelming you with strategies, I focus on helping you understand each approach clearly and find what works best for you. My goal is to make sure you feel confident not just in understanding the content, but in applying it under pressure. No question is ever a bad question! I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking anything and sharing feedback.

I know how stressful and exhausting med application can be. I’m always happy to chat about mindset, time management, or anything else that helped me (and hopefully can help you too). I look forward to supporting you and helping you reach your goals!

Mohammed Roheel

Hi! I’m Roheel, a third-year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I achieved a UCAT score of 3180 Band 1, alongside 3 A*s at A-Level and 10 Grade 9s at GCSE. Jee Hwan

I`m a fifth-year student at Imperial College London studying Medicine. When teaching, I like to ensure that my students have a deep understanding of the topics they cover before moving on to exam practice questions, which is the best way to test their knowledge and see what they have understood and haven`t. I have over 300 hours of tutoring experience over the course of 4 years since the beginning of my med school career.

I achieved A*A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths respectively
I achieved 10 A*s in GCSE, specifically 9s in all sciences.

Hi, I’m Abdullah, a first-year Medical student at the University of Manchester. I was fortunate to receive 5/5 Medicine and Dentistry offers myself, along with a UCAT score of 2500 (3300 B2 old system). Having just gone through the application process myself, I know how daunting medical interviews can feel. I’ve supported 40+ students with MMIs and panel-style interviews, helping them feel gain confidence and feel more prepared.

Arnav Agarwal

I’m Arnav, a medical student at St John’s College, Oxford! I scored 2510 Band 1 in the UCAT (3210 including the old AR section) and worked hard to receive offers from Oxford, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds. I got 11 grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry at A-level.

I’ve been tutoring for quite a while now (5 years!) and in the past couple of years I have really enjoyed working with students through the UCAT and interview process. Last year, I helped two students get into Oxford for Medicine, and I focus on keeping admission prep as practical and impactful as possible – sharing what actually works rather than just generic advice.
