Webinar Crafting a Successful Personal Statement

I will share my foolproof method to ensure you craft a Personal Statement that universities are looking for when shortlisting candidates for interviews.

The PS structure follows the new guidance set out by UCAS. The basic principles are tried and tested methods that have worked for hundreds of students. I will reveal my top tips and show you students’ common mistakes. In this workshop, you will be shown a live marking of a PS and be shown other PS in the NEW format.

Finally, an important tool that many students struggle with is reflection. From my teaching background, including previous teaching posts at UCL Medical School and King’s College London, I will go through a simple framework to aid students in developing their reflective skills.

The student will also have access to other medical Personal Statements in the new format for inspiration.
