Crafting a Successful Personal Statement by Senior Consultant

Dr Ahmed will share her foolproof method to ensure you craft a Personal Statement that universities are looking for when shortlisting candidates for interviews.

The PS structure follows the new guidance set out by UCAS.

The basic principles are tried and tested methods that have worked for hundreds of students in the past. She will reveal her top tips and show you students’ common mistakes. In this workshop, you will be shown a live marking of a PS and be shown other PS in the NEW format.

Finally, an important tool that many students struggle with is reflection. Drawing on her teaching background, which includes previous roles at UCL Medical School & King’s College London, she will outline a simple framework to help students develop their reflective skills.
